In the summer of 2014 I received my collection vinyl records back I bought some 35 - 40 years ago. So I decided to buy a turntable again.

There is a lot of information about turntables, tonearms and phono cartridges on the Internet and after some time I understood that I had bought a simple turntable. So I decided to buy a far better tonearm. Just to discover that I couldn't hear any difference between both tonearms (I used the same cartridge).

That was the start of some investigations about turntables, tone arms and phone cartridges.
That's why some posts describe a DIY turntable, tonearm, centring vinyl records and a phono cartridge.

Not everything is carefully tested because I am not satisfied with some technical solutions. So there are quite a number of things I have to do before the subject is finished. Moreover, some months ago I discovered that there was data of some old blogs of mine at the servers of Google. I deleted the old blogs but it showed that the images were linked to this blog... Not all the images were saved in a backup so some are missing. I will draw them again within some months.

But don't get me wrong. This isn't an important issue. I am just curious about the quality of the music of vinyl records when the equipment - turntable, tonearm and cartridge (and the centring of the records) - is carefully designed.
